Custom Painted Motorcycle featured in American Iron Magazine Jan. 2005

Kurt Carloni custom painted Jason Malicki's Buell which was featured in the January 2005 issue of American Iron Magazine.  As quoted in the article:  Jason contacted Kurt Carloni, a custom painter from Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.  Jason told Kurt he  simply wanted a checkered flag down the side of the bodywork, set off with an orange racing stripe.

"I think Kurt did a better job than what I was asking for," Jason says of the final product.  "Kurt shadowed and tinted the flag to give it depth, and it really looks like the flag is moving.  The Buell badges were hand painted, and the paint looks absolutely incredible."  As soon as Jason started entering the Buell in custom motorcycle shows, the machine won prizes and drew interest from the judges.

Kurt Carloni custom painted a 2002 Harley-Davidson Road King which was raffled off as a grand prize and a portion of the proceeds went to help children of 9/11 victims.  The cycle was painted in a patriotic theme and was autographed by New York's former mayor Rudy Giuliani and Harley-Davidson's long-time icon Willie G. Davidson.  The "freedom cycle" was mentioned on Jay Leno's "The Tonight Show."
